Jul 15, 2022 · Replace the battery. If the button cell battery in the key fob of A6 is replaced incorrectly or a battery is unsuitable, it can damage the vehicle key. Only replace drained batteries with new batteries in the same voltage, size, and specification. Make sure the battery is facing in the right direction when inserting it.

I have an 2007 Audi a6Cuatro 2.2 L in and I am in need of a battery but him being told that the computer must be reset. If I do not reset the computer and just replace the battery what are the consequences or if any? Thank you

Feb 20, 2022 · If you really need to run an inverter this large in the car, I might recommend that you install the largest auxiliary battery that you can, and run the inverter from that 2nd battery. Feb 15, 2013 · A6 / S6 (C6 Platform) Discussion - Battery Drain from MMI - Temp Fix - Hello Everyone, I have a 2005 A6 3.2 with MMI It currently has 150,000mi, lately the battery has been drained to 10% when I go out to the car, the exterior leaving home lights fail to turn on as well as the interior lights, until i start the car.
Jun 4, 2018 · The ESP/ABS/Parking Brake issue is your ABS Module. It needs to be replaced or rebuilt. I’ve had two rebuilt now on different A6’s and it fixes the issue perfectly. Google “Audi A6 ABS Module rebuild”. There are a couple of places who can do it for about $250.
